Terms and conditions

All booked lessons are to be paid for in full before the start time and date of the lesson. They must be paid for through the AA booking system once you have been assigned a login.

If you are unable to attend a lesson you are required to give your instructor a minimum of 48 hours notice else you will still be charged for the session and you will not receive a refund for this missed session. This is to reduce lost instructor income as a result of factors outside of instructor control.

If your instructor needs to rearrange or cancel your lesson this can be done up to the time of your lesson. If your lesson is rearranged the monies paid for this lesson will be reassigned to the new lesson date and time to ensure you do not lose out on funds. 

If the lesson is cancelled entirely by the instructor your AA account will receive a full refund for the value of the lesson cancelled.

As an instructors car is a place of business, smoking and vaping (and other such similar devices) are not permitted to be used inside the vehicle. If you require a smoke / vape break during your lesson this is to be discussed with your instructor and will count as part of your allotted tuition time.

​Behaviour inside the vehicle is to remain cordial at all times. Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated and will result in the termination of your lesson, and loss of your funds for that session. Any illegal activity in the vehicle will result in police intervention or other such necessary authority.

Any antisocial behaviour, including racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, or other such discriminatory language used towards others will result in the termination of your lesson, loss of funds for that session, and a ban from learning with myself.

If a lesson is terminated while in progress due to circumstances outside of pupil control and not mentioned above, i.e acute illness, tiredness, the lesson funds shall be refunded proportionately. e.g. a 2 hour session valued at £76 is ended 30 minutes early due to acute illness of pupil; a quarter of the funds of the lesson will be reassigned to pupil's AA account.

You will maintain a clean provisional licence for the entire duration of your driving lessons to ensure you retain the legal right to drive on public roads. You must notify your instructor of any changes to the status of your driving licence.

Instructor's word is final in all matters pertaining to use of tuition vehicle. Instructor retains the right to refuse use of vehicle at all times, including during lessons, and up-to and including the date of any practical driving tests.

You will not attend lessons in a state of intoxication via the use of alcohol, or recreational drugs. Any suspicion that you are under such influence will result in the immediate termination of, and loss of funds paid for, that session.​​

These terms and conditions will be expanded upon where necessary; However, where specifications have not been made above it is expected that any pupil, friend or family member there-of, will engage with this business in a civil manner, in-keeping with basic standards of civil decency, and business practice. Making attempts to circumnavigate what would be considered standard business-customer practice by virtue that a rule/policy has not been specifically stated above will be treated as malicious intent and result in cancellation of any further lessons or tests, and the banning of the pupil involved.
